抽烟的三个“好处” 778期
高年级的学生们向来对于已经听过的道理不喜欢重听，谈及抽烟，这老掉牙的课题，总是很难引起他们的兴趣。
曾经教过的学生，因为听不进道理，小学毕业两年后，在公共图书馆的楼梯口见到他们，几个男生竟然当众抽烟，吞云吐雾的样子，比起成年人，毫不逊色。这一群学生因为不懂事，用父母给的零用钱去买烟和学习抽烟，见到我却急于用脚跺灭香烟蒂，让为师者失望又心痛。
“老师看到你们这个样子，真的很难过，过去我教你们关于抽烟的后果，请你们回去想一想”，我对这几个低着头的学生这么说，他们惭愧得抬不起头。
“同学们，你们知道吗？抽烟其实有三个好处！”课堂里的全体学生因着我说的话，交头接耳起来。不一会儿，有位学生举手说：“老师，奇怪了，抽烟会有好处，您应该说错了吧？”
我的话引起学生们的关注，自然吸引了他们留心听课：“抽烟的第一个好处是能够‘美容养颜’，第二个好处是‘恶狗远离你’，第三个好处是‘住家不会进贼’。”学生们听了，个个目瞪口呆。
我继续说道：“能够美容养颜，因为一根烟里所含有的毒素将使抽烟者比一般人更容易患上肺癌等疾病，许多抽烟者英年早逝，没有机会老，所以遗照总是英姿焕发。”
学生们表示很有道理，继续要我解释抽烟的第二个“好处”。
“第二个好处是恶狗远离你，当抽烟者患病时，行动不便，需要靠拐杖来步行，狗看见了手拿‘武器’的人，还敢靠近他吗？”语毕，部分学生大笑，部分学生追问抽烟的第三个好处。
“抽烟的人住家不会进贼，因为小偷总是选择没有人的家行窃，抽烟导致人呼吸管的疾病，有人整夜咳嗽，小偷怎么敢来？”
“经过老师解释，抽烟的三个好处原来都是坏处，我明白了。”学生们在一片欢笑声中领悟了抽烟其实是没有益处的。
这一堂课让我发现，原来把话题以逆向思考来表达，收到的成果和乐趣更能令学生印象深刻，教学的技巧必须以学生的专注力为首，如果有一篇好作品或好道理，却用枯燥的方式来表达，学生吸收的能力将大大降低，若肯下一点功夫往学生的喜好去教学，不仅能让学生难忘，而且加添乐趣，也帮助教师的教学更能达到预期的果效。

A last day of 2008
Today is the last day of 2008, I feel happy or sad. Come with happy things first, our family has been added one member today can say this is a happy thing and also I have a new cousin now!
And the sad thing is after today 2008 last day everyone is add one years olds.
At the end, don’t still at the past and must look forward future. We can thinks past event in the now as a memorial. I wish everyone can happily welcome 2009 coming just like me. Still have 20 minutes 2009 will come, I write at this line.

A usual day
Today is public holiday. Today we went to a new restaurant to having a breakfast. The restaurant near at the Bus Terminal. Inside the restaurant look very big and modern.
We order some noodles and drinks. Better I tell the waiter at there did not use any paper to record our order and they use a PDA to record and I think this is first restaurant that I never look before!!!
And today is last 3 days of 2008 and no later the school holidays will end. I feel satisfy about my class at next year

Today is Sunday, as usual I go to church. But today a little special event is today is the last Sunday of 2008.So the church holds a special event to say goodbye to 2008.
Then, we also went to Town Square to taking photo with Christmas tree although it was late few days because this few days always raining was affected us to taking photo with Christmas tree. It was about 11 Christmas tree was set up at there with a beautiful decoration. And it will remove at 2009-01-02.

Today is Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas was coming now today. All are welcomed this warm season coming. Included me was also welcomed this Christmas coming.
We decided to have our own Christmas celebrationstem boat. So we went to market to buy some material to prepare this stem boat. After that, we went to church to having a Christmas praise at 9.30 am and it end about 11.00 am and then main event is having our own stem boat on 12.mm noon.
We ate the stem boat enjoyable and very delicious. Another also a important event is we went to Christmas Performance at Civil Centre organized by our church. At that night my sister also takes part in this performance and my friends also take part in this performance. This performance is using drama to present this performance. At that night also give a meaningful things to everyone ten crossed and it suitable put on handphone and more…. And this performance end about 9.00 pm.
At the ends, I thinks this year is better past few year.

This performance perform include singing, dancing and more. My sister also takes part into this performance. That night was bring joy to everyone to having a Christmas!!!

Christmas Walk
Hai,time have been gone very fast. Christmas have been coming in few days now. But I also take joy myself in this season greeting. So I take part in Christmas Walk that holds on 20.12.2008
At 5.30p.m on that day,the sky was raining at that time I arrive at the church. We having short briefing after 30 minutes we start moving to the Town Square. At there,the floor was fill water and it feels very wet and also let us shoes making wet and dirty.
We stayed at there about 1 hour after that we started moving. Begin, we pass by our church- Masland. At night, the church looked very beautiful with colorful lights. Then we pass by jetty and Sibu market. After that we pass by Sibu Window and Premire hotel. Then we also pass by SJK Chung Hua and at the end we went back Town square again.
Many people stand at behind the pavement look and some of people take out Handphone, Digital Camera and Handycam to capture this beautiful moment. We also sing some Christmas song and say “Merry Christmas”to everyone.
At the end, this is my first time take part in this activities and I hoped I could take part every ear .At the end, I wish my family, friends, and everyone having a sweet and joyful Christmas.

A briefing from the church
Today is Sunday as usual I go to church. Today our president at there takes a short briefing about Christmas walk at 20.12 Saturday. And I also brought a T-shirt which cost RM 23.00.
And I hoped this coming Christmas walk was a meaningful and forever walk because this is my first times take part this activities. And that day, hoping is a good weather day.
Today is Sunday as usual I go to church. Today our president at there takes a short briefing about Christmas walk at 20.12 Saturday. And I also brought a T-shirt which cost RM 23.00.
And I hoped this coming Christmas walk was a meaningful and forever walk because this is my first times take part this activities. And that day, hoping is a good weather day.
My house cleaning
Hai, no more than 3 week school holidays will end and now I feel the time was gone faster. As well, today I help my family doing cleaning process. We began at 8.30 am until 11.30 am.
We clean the fence, front door and wash the floor in front my house. When we wash the floor and it was very dirty things came out, I think maybe since long time no clean so that it was very dirty.
After, a whole morning cleaning, I feel my home had just having a bath.

Today I still same doing revision. But my aunt ask me to help him to set up the computer accessories that days brought on the PC fair.So I help him to set up all the accessories and sign up yahoo and hotmail e-mail.
No me one person to help but my brother also help inside and later all the process was done.

MY Youngest Sister Birthday
Today is my youngest sister 8 years old birthday. We have a simple party for him. At that days, She still old style is don’t like to share things to other and selfish let us very hate him.
But I thinks begin today,she could change her style so that no people hate him because of her style.

Visit to PC fair
Today afternoon, I and my family went to Pc fair at Sibu Trading and exhibition center. At there exhibited a lot of technology things likes: laptop, pen drive, and more…..
We also brought something at there. And I hoped Pc fair could hold every year at Sibu. So that we could handing more about new technology information.
